The Seeds of Promise

The seeds of God’s promises don’t always look like what we expect.
In fact, they often look like discipline—the daily choice to believe Him, to hold onto hope, and to steward what He’s whispered into our hearts.
These tiny, acorn-sized promises come in the form of dreams, visions, passions, and deep heart desires. They may not seem like much at first, but they carry the weight of heaven behind them.
When God speaks a promise over you, it often sounds like this:
“I have a great idea—and I want you to be part of it.”
And just like that, a seed is planted. It burrows deep into your soul.
You wake up thinking about it.
You go to sleep still turning it over in your heart.
It’s a divine deposit that calls you to pursue it—through prayer, through preparation, through perseverance.
God doesn’t tease us with empty words. He is the Faithful One.
Scripture reminds us:
“For no matter how many promises God has made, they are ‘Yes’ in Christ.” (2 Corinthians 1:20)
So if He planted it, He’ll water it.
If He spoke it, He’ll bring it to pass.
Your part? Trust the process and stay the course.
Because today’s mighty oak…
Was yesterday’s little nut that refused to give up.
Hold fast. Something beautiful is growing.
