The Power of One More Push: Never Underestimate Your Prayers

ree

Our prayers are not just a drop in the bucket.

They are the war cry of heaven echoing through the earth. They are not empty words whispered into the wind—they are divine summons that call angel armies to action. They pierce heaven’s floor, shake the earth, move mountains, call forth life, and cancel death. They are not merely hopeful wishes; they are surrendered declarations wrapped in power, thunder, and authority.

This is a vision the Lord gave me and I knew it was about the power of corporate prayer.

A massive boulder blocked the only road leading into a town—cutting off supply, provision, and connection. One person steps forward and begins to push. Nothing happens. Another joins, and another. Still, the rock won’t move. They push harder. A fifth arrives. Then a sixth. A seventh. Slowly, the boulder begins to shift. Hope begins to rise—but then the rock snags on something. It won’t go any further. Every ounce of strength is spent. Exhausted backs are pressed against it, legs shaking under the weight. The people groan—just one more push is needed, but who will bring it?

From the edge of the crowd, a small girl watches. She’s tiny. Seemingly insignificant.

What could I possibly add? she wonders.

She turns to leave, convinced there are already enough people, enough strength, enough push.

But something inside her whispers, What can it hurt to try?

She returns, places her small hands on the massive rock, digs her heels into the dry dirt, and begins to push. Suddenly, the boulder jerks forward—unstuck. It rolls out of the way. The road is cleared. The people shout in celebration! Provision and blessing can now flow freely into the town.

The young girl stands in awe. Could it be? Could her tiny strength have actually made the difference? She wonders.

An elderly man, worn and wise, limps over and leans on his cane. His face is lined with years, but his eyes twinkle. He says,

“Never underestimate the power of combined strength. Without our feeble efforts and your brave ‘yes,’ that old rock would still be in the road.”

The girl smiles, something in her heart forever changed. She had thought her prayers, her effort, her push was too small to matter. But it mattered deeply.

So, the next time you think, “There are already enough people praying. Enough warriors are contending. My voice won’t make a difference,” remember this story.

The collective PUSH moves what seemed unmovable.

It’s not about how strong you are. It’s about your willingness to show up. Because sometimes breakthrough comes with just one more push.

P.U.S.H.

Pray. Until. Something. Happens.

“Again I tell you, that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven. For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.”
