For the past few months, I’ve seen a series of numbers. It was in weight, prices, and time. When I asked the Lord what He wanted to show me with the number 555, His answer was Grace Grace Grace.
As I meditated on this word, I knew the number five represented grace, but the Lord was showing me that He was wanting to lavish us times three and He wanted us to live with it times three.
He shared three steps of grace for me to operate from and I feel that this is our Grit Girls declaration for the year. Grace x 3
Live in it.
Live from it
Live to give it!
Living in grace means resisting shame and recognizing our dependency on King Jesus.
Living from grace is active and intentional. It’s rising up every morning recognizing the gifts we have. It’s knowing pain has an end and grace wins…always.
Living to give grace is done first by offering it to ourselves. In our faults, failures, past, and disappointments. It’s accepting the favor that is so generously poured out on us and in turn, we can offer it to others in the darkest moments of life. We can see the pit dwellers because we were once tossed aside and sucking carpet. Living to give grace is more than forgiveness and acceptance. Living to give grace is offering favor to the undeserving. It’s seeing the broken and then acting upon our compassion to layer grace upon grace.
This year I sense the Lord pouring out a triple portion of His unmerited favor. I see Him wanting to bring us into a broader space of grace. To increase our capacity to live it and give it.
The picture I have in my head is arms open wide. Welcoming, inviting, beckoning! We are calling the sinners home. We are seeing the shattered sisters who need a shoulder. We are pulling our bootstraps up and deciding to walk out our purpose after failed attempts and broken dreams.
Grace is parfaiting us in sweet layers and levels to live from and in. It’s equipping us to give it to the difficult and offensive. It’s imparting kindness to offer a listening ear and an unoffended heart. Grace meets at the table to break bread with those who disagree or even betray us. It is confident and comfortable in its skin and has nothing to prove, only offer and operate in and from.
We are stepping into a season of unmerited and undeserving, attention-grabbing grace.
What was once out of reach is being slid across the table for you. What was once impassable or unapproachable is now open and receiving of you. What was once unrepairable is now mendable.
We are rising out of the ashes of grief, sorrow and loss with a fire in our hearts to set the world ablaze with His grace!!! We are stepping into grace-filled shoes to trample divisiveness, anger, and discord. The head of the serpent is being stomped on by Deborah’s of today!
We are here to roar grace over our families, friends, neighbors, cities, states, and our beloved country!!!
Lace-up ladies- it’s time to tread on evil with a holy, attractive grace!
“Surely you will summon nations you know not, and nations you do not know will come running to you, because of the Lord your God, the Holy One of Israel, for he has endowed you with splendor.”
Isaiah 55:5 NIV
“But God’s amazing grace has made me who I am! And his grace to me was not fruitless. In fact, I worked harder than all the rest, yet not in my own strength but God’s, for his empowering grace is poured out upon me.”
1 Corinthians 15:10 TPT
